Start 10:45am., 19c, overcast & light wind, at green county sign "Kingsville", near km-marker "14" on TransCanadian Highway 105. Finish 13:34pm., rain & same, at km-marker "36" on hwy. 105.

Meeting Reino !

After todays short 22km stage we drowe the 100km up to Sydney at the North end of the island to pick up Reino Uusitalo. He had arrived from Finland yesterday and are ready to once again join the run !

Reino has previously joined me on the daily stages in as different places as Finland, Central & Southern Mozambique, Equador and Southern Colombia. He is also one of the sponsors of world run 2 via his many factories in Finland.

It is always a Joy when meeting Reino who in a quiet and unceremoniously way shows a great understanding of the run and the chance it is experiense nature and culture in a unique 'up close' fashion. And one could say that both the visit of a good friend as well as the financial sponsorship comes at a particular good time: its my birthday today :-)
