Start 10:45am., 27c, clear and l.wind, at road-stone "900" on hwy.1. Finish 14:19pm., 24c, a few clouds and same, at road-stone "870" on hwy.1.

A stage with a very anonymous terrain ! Sandunes, rolling hills.. not much more :-)

But tomorrow is another day and there surely will come a chance in terrain as the Panamerican Highway once again winds down the coastal mountains to follow the Pacific Ocean ! Coming from a contry of extensive coastal areas its always a joy to reach the ocean - and often a thing which I miss while for months running inland across the 'dry continents' :-)
