Start 10:30am., 10c, dense fog and l.wind at km-stone "870" on hwy.1. Finish 13:36pm., 26c, humid and same, at house number "602" on Ave. Lima in Camana city.

Dog City ?

After a steep and misty downhill run I reached the Pacific Ocean once more :-) And the somewhat odd city of Camana. Ofcourse, its allways nice to reach a place with accomodation after days where the tent is my overnight place after the daily run - afterall there ''hot shower'' in the tent leaves a bit to be desired ;-)

But Camana had a strange, though not un-nice, ambience: lots and lots of 3-wheel taxies, even a float of "bike rickshaws" which I wouldnt expect to see anywhere else than India.. Along with a surprising liking for putting their dogs on the roof of the houses (see pictures). However, I certainly wont complain about that; it keeps them away from my legs !
