Start 05:15am, 21c, l. wind, 1h before sunrise. At bl.&white roadsign "km 1530" on hwy. 3 to Bournes Aires.
Finish 13:10pm,34c, l. wind and cloudy. At green roadsign "C. Rivadavia 360km" [in opposite direction] on hwy. 3.

Its been nearly 400km since the last city, C. Rivadaria, which also turned out to be nearly the last place w. cellphone signal as well as the last option w. accomodation.

A very long, dry & hot streatch, reminding a lot of the Australian Nullabor semi-desert during world run 1 (www1.worldrun.org) by the way. I think it surprised both me and my supplydriver: food and water getting Low, the "natural smell" getting strong; and the tents getting well used..

Today I new we had ca. 85km left to the city at the end of the long dusty tarroad, the city of Trelew, and I had had it w. one week of 40c-tenting & the 1liter-bottleshower after the daily 30-40km of sweating.
So: up at 3.40am., pack the expedition tent, check for scorpions, drink 4L & eat a bisquit. Then 60km running :-)

And IF there turns out to be a hotel in Trelew; and IF it has a shower - What a Wonderfull day it will be :-)) !

.. We did indeed have 2 villages/settlements inbetween; but one hadnt other than a small gasstation, the other was abandoned (we pitched tents inside one of the houses; atleast that gave shade ;-)
