Elapsed time: 02:03:50
Country: Africa

Navigation.. & backtracking ;-)
Used the first hours of the day buying supplies for the 120-140 remote km ahead on sandy beach roads next to the Indian Ocean. Searching Tanga town for 3F; Fuel, food & fizzy water..
And buying another simcard, the 3. in 3days ;-), trying to set up a steady datalink for the LifePilot live gps coverage.
By the time I got on the road', however, all focus was long Gone.
I guess we as ultrarunners &extremesportsmen are like that, very high capacity when motivated - at best at average level if not motivated.
And so it went today: ran a wrong way/missed the right turn (misnavigation has happened 3 times here in wr2; but 3 big times: 2h. roadconfusion & random-choice in Jonkjoebing in Sweden, bridge-chaos' upon exiting Istanbul, a 1hour night-chase for a hotel together w. Sarah ina now forgotten city, and now the Tanga
village w. around 10 000 people - impressive 'effort' indeed ;-) And ended up w. 3km back-tracking. Jolly good ! ;-]
The heroic total for the day: 21km.
