Start 08:12am. at roadsign: "... Tongoni Ruins 2klm ->" on the dustroad to Pangani. 18c, half o.c. and l. wind. Finish 13:52pm. At ferrysign: "Wizara Ya Miundombino Wakala Wafundi Naumeme" at N. side of Pangani River, on the dust road to Pangani. 34c, v. humid, allm. clear andsame.

A nice focused run, rewarded w. an hour at the beach after post-run duties (buying spares and checking the state of the supportcar, buying food &water, washing running clothes, control of the logbook and negotiating hotel price along w. an evening discussion of the sandtrack/road ahead w. the local tourist guide).
