Start 07:50am., at rockpile 165km S. of Moyale, 50m after marker-stone "390" [to tar. road/A2], on the main rd. to Nairobi. 20c, o.c. and m. wind. Finish 13:30pm., at unknown bridge 195km S. of Moyale, on the main rd. to Nairobi. 41c, half o.c. and hwy. wind.

Luckily the wind picked up and made the heat more bearable in the shadeless stone desert. But; running on rocks. Hmm ! Each sec. requires attention to avoid falling on the sharp rocks. Even 15km fealt like 50 and by the end of the in ultrarunning therms mini-stage I was more battered than on the 95km stage in Syria and mentally beyond where I've been in any 6day race.
