Start 09:39am., at steel bridge just South of Wortu village on the main rd. to Addis Abeba. 19c, allmost clear and l. wind.Finish 11:34pm., at big red coca-cola sign "Gondar 320km/ Addis Abeba 228km" (?) in amaric (I dont read amaric fully yet), at S. end of Dajen village onthe main rd. to Addis Abeba. 28c, a few clouds and same.

- The second of 2 short stages preparing for tomorrows '20km down/ -1500m alt & 20km up/ 1500m alt'.

All is nice and ready; legs good and attack-spirit' high :-)

But no days seems w.out their problems lately ;-)
... Y.day evening locals signals to us that tenting at the GREAT vista overlooking the Blue Nile valley could have dire consequenses (hand across the throat by several bypassers along w. a throwing motion and pointing down the steep gorge ! Ethiopia has a unique way to greet foreigners ;-).

Todays surprise: the clutch broke on the supportcar !!!
We carry on and try to find a mechanic and a spare part before midnight here in Dejen town.
Can't let obstacles stop the team :-)
