Delayed effects.. !
Today came the delayed effekt of the fever and stomack prob. And perhaps tiredness after batteling the sandstorm yesterday.
... In any case a slow jogg forward in the elseway great weather today.
The fatigue was broken by the enjoyable company of Jamie (who ran 6k w. me - and insists its the longest streatch he's run, up to this day; makes me proud :-)
And Dee who did 10km hardly without breaking a sweat; but enlightening me on the subtle spice-balance of Indian and Chinese cuisine' (from extensive travel experiense - my knowledge is limited to wether they sell chocolate or not ;-)
From tomorrow the direct road South to Khartoum part ways w. the flow of the Nile and so also my two companions and I. Dee and Jamie have a few sights to catch up on along the twisty Nile road; and I am bound for the direct route South together w. my patient supply-driver, Mohammad !
The little team has been a joy to work with and get to know. Im sure Ill have delayed effects (miss them :-)
Nb: due to the security situation I may be extracted from the route to Khartoum by advice of the Danish Foreign Ministry, to stay w. the embassy, running in circles untill I can return to the route. Hopefully the 'delayed effects' of politics wont be long..
