Start 08:53am., at Al El Beit Hotel in central Qena, Nile Valley. 17c, clear and l. wind. Finish 16:49pm., at Nile Hotel inLuxor. 26c and same.

10 000km !! :-)

Reached it. Am Tired; much more tired than at 10t. in world run 1. But now its relax, bath, icecream, and a short20km 'recoveryday' here in Luxor tomorrow.
Then I look at the next 10 000km.

Ps (the hotel gave me a good "wr" offer on a suite w. a Nile view at sameprice as my original single room. Doesnt hurt reg. the recovery.. :-) How strange w. the contrasts: tents in mountains, 5star big city hotels, tents in deserts, 0-1star local village hostels, Nile and Red Sea lux. resorts, stays at private homes, schools, stadions, a detention (!) ... And I hope I dont sound too spoiled when i say that what I miss is my 'homes' in denmark or the appartment I rented in Malmö, Sweden, just before the start. Small places. But home :-)
