.. And then things change !
Had a policecar escorte first 40km of the run. A pleasant surprise it was friendly and helpfull all the way w. no pasport inspections, long halts or similar that I have got used to.
Reached an indoor acco. (even 4* hotel); first shower and prepared meal in 5days. Washing of clothes. !!!! :-)!!!!
Getting energy & protein back into the 'running maschine' instead of buisquits and juice. Restoring motivation partly !
Was still so much out ofit that I couldnt get myself to meet a v. kind english-armenian couple who had invited me to visit and stay at their appartment in the same large tourist resort in the desert.
Checked in asap and locked the door. Only to sneak out for the incl. dinner (see live-pic coverage :-)
So oddd, so odd to see the other tourists. Absolute removed and secured from the reality of the contry.
A rich 'tourist-reality' that you find most places in the world. Locals in colourfull costumes serving in perfect english or french .
Broad smiles and friendly attitude to the tune of a creditcard.
Ofcourse, Im one of thosesupporting these tourist-
so.. ;-)
On the same line I recognice this way of running does show the strong up & down of a contry, and thats part of it !
