Fever down & eskimo up :-)

Today the fever finally lost its grip after another night 'swimming' in the running clothes. Great to have that hindering behind :-)

Still a bit tired so I kept the run short and put the tent down 31km South of Zaafrana at a perfect empty beach w. bright yellow & white sand, a clear lapis-blue lagoon and white clouds above. Not too bad !

Now its time to eat some chocolate to regain a few kg (when bathing noticed that 'something' was missing in the weight department ;-)
Then think about the logistics ahead - where Dorte of the danish Embassy in Cairo still is a Grand Help !! (wonder how she keeps patience w. this delay-runner.. ! :-)
and Phil Essam of Australia who as allways is the stable rock of the run even when I momentarely loose my sight of the far-away goal :-)

... Besides that ?
Reading a book by early 1900 polar explorer Peter Freuchen about the cultural meeting between inuit (eskimo) and 'the new world' and its concequenses for both. Interesting expedition know-how and, in its own way cooling to the fever ! ;-)
