Start 07:58am, at km-marker "Aqaba 186km" on the desert hwy. 5c, halfclear and l. wind. Finish 16:12pm, at exit to Maan city, 118km N. of Aqaba / the Egypt border. 13c, allmost clear and med. wind.
Company in the desert :-)
Not long after I had woken up (in a freezing cold tent ;-), packed my things, enjoyed the sunrise in the desert and started todays run - I was met by my two running friends in Jordan:
Farah and Ammar !
Allready I have had their good company while running in Amman city, and now they had driven ca. 200km to run w. me again. 30km each; wich for Farah was her longes training run ever :-)
WELL DONE (she looked as she could easily have run 10k more !!). And THANKS for great company to both of you who 'made my day in the desert' :-)
