Start 09:53am, at exit to "Jordan Traffic Institute" on Queen Alia Airport Road/desert hwy. 11c, overc. clear and l. wind. Finish 15:14pm, at "Al Karak 50km" on the desert hwy., 248km N. of Aqaba. 23c and same.

On todays run I had pleasant, and fast !, company by two of Jordans participants in the yearly stage-race in Sahara "Marathon des Sables", Marocco. And no novices at that w. best placings 2. and 10. overall. Besides marathon pb. of 2:20h. & 2:26h., so the 36km they ran w. me went quick untill they were picked up by my friend Amar and driven back to Amman.

My tent isset at a nice flat spot in the sand, and while the stay at the Sheraton hotel yestd. was nice, I cherished the silent night in the tent under the stars :-)

Todays running advice:
As a long-time athlete you may sometimes experience lack of motivation - if it persists try to go back to what motivated you when you started. Often competetion runners occationally forget the basic Joy of running if the high goals has overgrown the horizon :-)
