Great company by Amar and Farah - and Jens from the danish embassy as car support (he has done a great job to make my run inJordan as good as possible !).
Amar also ran w. me the last km's yesterday and will accompany me on-off the next week through the desert. Farah is training for her first marathon; and I have seldom seen such entusiasm !! She'll do fine, allready flying' up the steep hills of Amman city. Motivating to see such joy in running :-)
When we reached Amman I did a longer interview in an exercise & nutrition program Amar hosts on Jordan tv. (those who know my diet, chocolate.., can imagine, but they made an interesting talk on basis of the scientific req. of the run !).
I'm amazed by how much Amar maneages to do for running in his contry: host tv-show, has opened fittness/training clubs; supports and is part of their Mara. des Sables team. A grand "ambassador" of the sport !
The run out of Amman city, a little dangerous w. cars swaying in and out of the emergencylane (as well as opposite direction ! ;-) butthis is capital city running in any part of the world..
Todays running advice:
Remember if you have trained well you have deserved to eat well :-))
