Start 09:04am., at first exit to Banias on Arab route M51 to Damaskus. 9c, allm. clear and l. wind. Finish 13:21pm at ChapkaStreet, at "Import & Export" in Tartous opposite Antzadous Hotel. 21c, clear and same.

Another GREAT day in Syria !

The stage was fairly easy w. a beautifull view to the Med. Sea from the road :-)

The evening was spent w. Ali from Tartous Sport Club, his whife and children Hassan, Mimi and Sunnha - Wehad a great time, visited 2000y.o. Roman ruins at the beach, excanged Arab and English words (trying to pick up on my Arab language; Imsha Allah ! :-) met w. their neighbours and celebrated the main day of the Eid Mubarak holiday. The feast where muslims who has time and ability travel to Mekka and in general celebrate and go to the Middle-East.

Todays running advice:
Nature ! An important part of staying motivated in the daily traing is to keep your runs variated: not only reg. different training types (long-slow, hillwork, speedwork, intervals, fartlek, neg.split train. etc.)
- But also by actively to find new routes for your runs and to appreciate the scenery !

Ps: accomodation.. Nice central hotel. Sport Club provided; impossible to be allowed to pay myself for hotel or food. WHAT HOSPITALITY !!! :-)
