A day wich started w. a run through the 1.5mill. city Adana. To me, in a run like this and especially when running w. the stroller, big-city-running is perhaps the most dreaded moments ! The traffic, hectic and very close; the navigation that can turn into chaos if not alert at each turn and corner; the special life-style that metropols seems to bring forth no matter where in the world. Perhaps a de-attachment from original values or peace/deapt of thourght.. ??
In any case I dont have the same calm or wellcome feeling when emerged in city running (I am myself at "home" in a large city, Copenhagen; and back there evidently shares the life-style !)

- Atleast those were my thourghts as I was jogging in & out of traffic through the tidal waves of the traffic lights and signs.
Up pulls a business limosine and a driver hands a bundle of solid Turkish lira notes; ofcourse I couldnt accept it (it was a lot of cash!) but it did make me rethink a bit. At todays live-pictures you can also see the marveolous Mosque I caught a glimse of through traffic !

Still, once out on the other side of the city the calm, the green fields, the distant mountains and the large horizon ruled again :-)

A man on a donkey comes riding past. We wave to eachother. In a run like this I am 'a man on a donkey' - only without the donkey. I push my donkey.. ;-)
