Christmas running-calendar.. !
Todays stage was, besides some technical glitches, one of the more quiet and left time to work on the visa & logistics for the Syrian, Jordanian and African distances - where I enjoy an excellent help from the danish embassies. A most wellcome help towards supply pickup, visa and even local participant runners wich I can't thank enough for; it motivates to know that help is waiting up ahead and reminds of the good cooperation w. the embassies in Australia and N. America during the 26 000km of world run one. A help wich also is not forgotten :-))
This leaves time to get the now traditional wr christmas calender ofrunning & injury advice started !
For sure I am not the biggest expert on this area but I'll try to draw from 25y. of competitive running, national records and first and last an unbroken joy in daily running and training.
- the first advice is on injury prevention & running effectiveness: Many overlook that training mobility & strength of the foot is of key importance. This is the max impact-point and determines injury and energy distribution !
