Progress :-)
-The day had a difficult beginning; again the start was delayed due to punctured tires on the running-strollers. Such a travestyto start the day w. fixing tires & tubes when you are a runner - who Loves to run and cherish the nature and inner & outer sceneries and grand views it brings. And not very skilled, nor eager, in the noble art of tire repair and pushing what rolls upon them.. ;-)
Yet, something was in store for us.
Theteam-spirit has been at a lowpoint lately, not least because of non-running issues like the above and other. But solutions are there if one looks for them: Our helper w. visa related issues, May-Britt, has on short notice caught the tire-prob. and provided a way that we can get new (kevlar ! :-) tires send out to the Middle-East via diplomat-post by persistant effort, good will and very helpfull contacts at the danish Foreign Ministry & the Embassy in Syria.
THANKS to all involved !!!
Meanwhile, while the solution was brewing up in denmark, the landscape opened up to us and softened two strained runner-minds: semi-desert w. views down to small oasis, tall mountains, high cliffs, wild oranges at roadside among pinetrees.
In the river valley where we have camped two mosques are calling to prayer from each their side of the valley. The prayer eccoing in stereo around the tent; easing us to rest.
