A fairly easy stage in the highlands. Much of the stage went w. preparing strategies of how to obtain visa's for the African part wich slowly is getting nearer, if the legs allow, :-)
The central issue beeing the run through Sudan; not easy to get a visa for certain. An alternative would be to run through Saudi Arabia and past Mekka. Definately a route that would be very very exiting, but it appears that getting a visa to Saudi Arabiais even more difficult :-(
Fortunately a great team of May-Britt from Denmark and Phil Essam from Australia are working together with the Danish Foreign Ministry to turn impossibility into possibility :-)
