Start 08:24am. At the Nitra river in Velky Cetin . 11c, allm. clear and l. wind.
Finish 17:38pm. At Nova Vieska city sign.
18c, overcast and no wind.

With us on the run we carry a small tvcamera from the main danish sportschannel, TV2 Sporten. Once in a while we film local scenery or highlights and dramas of the run.

Today Sarah brings out the camera as we stop at a local food shop in a tiny village of about 300people.
The shop is one of the smallest - and least expensive, we have passed.
You have to go behind the counter to sample some of the products ! Behind the counter amidst an old weightscale and a pocket calculator, resides a babuska who smiling and autoritatively wellcones us; well in command of her shop !
While video filming the music from the village loudspeakers sets in w. brazz music and cheerfull singing. From our friends we understand its probably an commercial for the local cement factory !
She offers us two chocolate bars (wich by the way taste great :-) and while talking it appears to me that despite beeingfrom different corners of the world and we from big cities,
we are the exact same people.

By the way S. had the stomach flu w. fever and nausia that I have had a bit of the last 3-4days (therefore the slightly shorter stages some of the days). To give an example of her personality: despite having trouble eating drinking there were no way she wanted to accept a shorter stage. When the sun slowly began to sink towards the horizon she finally was ready to accept to finish the day - the last hour slowly running and walking when the energy was used up..
What a runner !!
