Finish 17:00pm. At "Jyväskyla 181km" on E75. 23c, allmost clear and med. wind. Alt. 50m, 1005hPa.

Lost & found :-)

Todays run had a bit of drama to it as we 5km into the stage were told that the supportcar had a full puncture and couldnt move ahead w. drinking water and food. A bit of a problem an expected 70km run. Here in the beginning we are dependant on the Grand help we have been given by our Finland supporters - every 5km the car waits for us at roadside for a 5min. break w. carbohydrate-refueling before we digest another piece of the endless tarmac road in front of us by running.

Luckily our host from yesterday was a hero of the moment; packing our supplies into his car and driving up the road to service us by help from his whife, 2 dogs (Obsi & Luka !) and son :-)

Two hours into the run the car was back - voulenteerly repaired and fixed up by a local gas station. THANKS :-))

I dont want to make it a political report: but howdenmark could learn from this hospitality to strangers.. !! We feel more than wellcome at any given moment - I remember a time when the culture was alsoso back home :-)

As we ran through the landscapes a song was 'playing' at my inner taperecorder: "Still havent found what Im looking for.."/U2. When running wr1 & 2 I have found what I am looking for: the light through green forrests, open landscapes and limitless friendship on a road into the horizon.
