1000km :-)
7km into todays stage we rounded the first 1000km of wr2. We had a quick roadside celebration w. generous amounts of chocolate :-)) And then hurried to run forward along the E75... There is still a fair wayleft and as the marathon runner seldom knows the future at km 1, so also with our first thousand km. We must be carefull, prevent injuries, keep the energy for diffcult days ahead and not least remember to enjoy every step of the way :-)

The latter not difficult as we are allmost getting spoiled w. helpand generosity here in Finland !! If all the route was like this world running would perhaps be an easy thing all the way !

- today's live pictures show the during and after-run support. AMAZING how people take care of long distance runners here and thus becomes an important part of the run; inspirationbeeing exchanged back and forth :-)

To supplement the report there is a link in todays report to our hosts website
www.karppa.eu !
He will take part intomorrows stage; a distance of approx. 71km.
