This year its the 10th anniversary of the finish of the World Run 1. The organizor of the World Run Marathon series during the last 10 years, my good friend in Russia and supportdriver 10.500 km across Russia and Siberia in 2004, Alexander Rachenka this year invites all foreign runners to take part in the anniversary run. Eighter a 70 km relaxed group run with start 10:00. on the 23 October, or a regular Marathon with start at 09:30 am. on the 25 October.

Both run’s take place in the scenic Ural Mountains at the geographical divide between Europe and Asia.

Competition program

October 23, at 10:00 -70 km marathon Start «WORLD RUN I - URAL» - Friendly run with the first record holders running around the Earth: starting from the Post Office, pr. Lenina 39, Ekaterinburg, on the highway Ekaterinburg - Chelyabinsk. A reconstruction of the finishing stage of the world run «WORLD RUN I» October 23th 2005. in London. A relaxed run on scenic roads with good friends at a slow pace.
October 23, 24 Arrival of participants to the village Slyudorudnik from 9:00 to 22:00
October 24 9:00 Arthritic gymnastics - master class by Alexander Shadrin. Excursion run in the picturesque surroundings of Slyudorudnik with Leonid Volkov
11:00- 12:00 Breakfast with friends.

Not necessarily all participants of the marathoner take part in the super marathon of 70km. Marathon - «WORLD RUN I - URAL» for aspiration towards distant horizons. All participants of the super marathon should overcome the marathon as well. The main distance is marathon. The major prizes are given for the marathon.

Distance to the village Slyudorudnik from Miass - 95 km. From Yekaterinburg - 140 km. From Chelyabinsk - 120 km. From Perm - 430 km. From Tyumen - 460 km.

By car:
Chelyabinsk-Argayash - Kyshtym - Slyudorudnik.
Yekaterinburg - Tyubuk - Kasli - Kyshtym - Slyudorudnik.
Ufa -Miass- Karabash - Kyshtym -Slyudorudnik.

By bus:
Chelyabinsk - Northern Bus Terminal to Kyshtym 8:00 – busses leave every two hours. Travel time 2:20
Ekaterinburg - to Miass (c / o Kasli, Kyshtym).
Suburban train from Chelyabinsk (Ufaley direction) to Kyshtym 07:10 and 16:35, Moscow time, travel time 2:30. There are several passenger trains from Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg.
From Kyshtym (center) to Slyudorudnik by bus: 9:40; 13:05; 15:15 - weekdays 12:15 - weekend. The bus from the train / railway station: 6:00; 17:20

Registration

Advance online registration and payment of the entry fee online: http://ski66.ru/kms_news+stat+nums-3256.html - begins on July 1, 2015 Participants: participation in the marathon is open for all who have the necessary physical training and personally sign the questionnaire in the responsibility for the life, health and safety on the road. For underage participants their parents or representatives of the teams sign the same documents.

Routes

№1 starting October 23 on the highway Ekaterinburg - Chelyabinsk.
№ 2 starting on 25 October. Starting in Asia, the village Slyudorudnik from ski stadium. In the process of overcoming the distance participants twice cross the border parts of the world - first from Asia to Europe and then back. At the northern foot of the mountain Berkut there is an obelisk, where you can see the spring with the running water. The road mostly undercoated with some light car traffic. Predominate prolonged ascents and descents. Around the forest, the lake, with views of the distant ridges of the Ural Mountains.

Objective

To strengthen the capacity of one’s vitality. Training will and courage. Connecting people, aspiring toward a common goal. Knowledge and self-discovery in harmony with nature.

Food on the route

October 23: On the marathon route there will operate a mobile feeding stations every 5 - 10 km. After the finish line on the track, moving to the village Slyudorudnik. Accommodation in houses, sauna, and dinner.
October 24 from 11:00 -breakfast, from 19:00 to 20:00 marathon Pasta.
October 25 from 7:30 to 9:00 marathon porridge. On the route of the marathon constant every 5 km and mobile canteens. After the finish of the marathon participants will have sauna and dinner.

Accommodation

Participants are accommodated in the village Slyudorudnik Sport and tourist center of the "Province" in cottages and houses, as well as the villagers’ houses. Cost of accommodation from 300 to 600 RUB per day. You can come in advance. There is space for a tent, a village surrounded by woods, mountains and lake.

Awards: All participants who overcome the distance of the marathon will receive diplomas and medals. In the overall standings the first 3 participants among men and women will get prizes; in the age categories, only the first runners will be awarded with cups.

Sports family

Rewarding couples and family group occupied in these categories 1st place. The offset is taken all the participants’ time summed up, without age.

First Marathon

A special souvenir to each participant overcome the distance of the marathon for the first time.

Happy birthday, a marathon runner!

A special prize for the participants whose birthday is on the 23 - 26 October.

Special nomination

6 cups by the decision of the Bureau and the participants.

The award is due to sponsorship donations, plus, each participant brings to the prize pool a souvenir worthy to a be presented to marathoners.

from 1 to 30 September - 650 RUB;
1 to October 15 - 700 RUB.
After October 15 the registration and payment of the entry fee will only be possible on the 24 - 25 October, at STC "Province", pos. Slyudorudnik. Entry fee - 800 RUB.
