Goto: 2012-06-08 2012-06-10 Canada
2012-06-09:Distance today: 16.0 km (Accumulated: 35507.0 km)
Elapsed time: 01:30:24
Country: Canada
Start 10:20am., 8c, overcast & medium wind, at white sign "Riverbank" on Rd.121. Finish 12:00, 11c, light rain & same, at green village sign "Smiths Creek", on Rd.890.
A very short stage; in fact probably one of the shortest in wr2 when not counting in the occational 10km tests that I sometimes do in order to check how the accumulated km's and continents affect the ability to run fast (and there certainly is an effect; many years ago before I became an ultrarunner I could turn out times down to 31 minutes on 10km when in competetion - now, the test-times has gone via 39min's to the mid 40ties and lastly 49min. So certainly a difference !).
The reason for todays short stage was not due to fast pace testing though; but raughter because of some knee-pain in the right knee. Hopefully its just due to the fatigue along with the cold rain today. We'll see tomorrow !
