Running company in Baltimore !

About halfway on todays short run through Baltimore I was met by David - a fellow ultrarunner, and with a strong background, fx. a pb. of 16hours on 100miles. It certainly was a joy to share a part of the run with a fellow ultrarunner and the last half of an elseway tired day flew by !

The city itself, is curious in the way that its one of the few large cities in Usa that has decreased in size. Its centre reached its peak in the 1950'ties and is now well below 1 million people and getting close to ½ a million in total. Though it made a very nice impression while I ran through it and could enjoy glimpses of the architecture, wich seemed less of a blurr/chaos than many other of the large cities. Its history reaches back to 1729 and of all things its named after an Irish lord ;-)
