180' !
Today certainly was the opposite from yesterdays run through the interesting but somewhat shady Peterburg: After an enjoyable run through Richmond city our little road-team was invited to stay at a local family. The invitation has a story to it: Tammy, her husband and 2year old child is related to an american runner who twice joined me on the run back in 2008 when I had just begun world run two and was running through Europe and the Middle-East. Tammy's brother, Kelly, is a very capable ultra-runner who has base in Prague in the Czech Republic, and ran with me and my by then girlfriend Sarah while we were running through Prague. Later, he also joined when I was struggeling my way throug the Jordanian Desert - arriving with a sandstorm howling across the empty plains to offer company on the running during that years Christmas on the world run 2 ! What a support !!
So I hope that those who read yesterdays less positive experienses compare with todays outstanding and cosy afternoon and evening spend as guest ! I think this is very typical for the 'Usa part' of world run 2 so far: a run of extremes and contrasts. And thats not the worst kind of running I'd say :-)
