An undramatic stage through the green farmlands just South of Peru's capital, Lima, which we should run into within 4days now. As you can see from the pictures the production is very little dependent on machinery, and much more on 'man-power'; even the havest trucks beein donkey-powered. Perhaps outdated by decades - yet a fair bit more ecological than the efficient modern versions I suspect !
