As you can see by now it ceartainly helps to have company on the daily stages ! After a stomack-trouble day yesterday we got a good run in today, helped by nice overcast cool weather.
The day started out well, as a large double-decker touristbus emptied its septic tank at our starting location (Pali was busy the rest of the day cleaning the car in- and outside..). But after that incident, giving us a surprising farewell with the city "Pisco", we decided to make some distance. We used most of the day to take in the sceneries and terrain: stopping once to pad a big wollen lama at roadside, a lunch visit to lye down at the beach for a moment looking at the many seagulls and listening to the wawes crashing at the beach. And a stop for a cup of coffe at at posh restaurant (Pali and Sarah, Im too young to drink tea or coffe yet ;-)
... Yes quite a road-movie' of a day; including staying the night at a suspect hotel w. cold water and rooms al'a East Africa
as far as cleanliness, strange noises and odd guests coming out after dark.
(the gps-stamped pictures will be uploaded later when we have internet).
