Start 11:35am., 27c, clear and l.wind, at km-stone "1096" on hwy.5. Finish 15:27pm., 25c, cloudy and same, at km-stone "1066" on hwy.5.

A pleasant stage in the desert, today with a few very long pieces of tarmac going straight ahead into the horizon :-)

After the stage we were lucky to find a tentspot right at the finish point. Often finding a good place to tent takes quite a while and begins with trying to spot suitable areas during the run. One of the deciding thing is wether there is a fairly good access-road leading off the main highway and yet lead to a remote area where the tents wont be visible to make it more safe.
Fortunately only a little bit of searching can sometimes lead to spectacular tenting-spots which provide a closeness with nature on the various continents of the world runs :-)
