[6. waiting day at the border to Peru, chilean authorities not allowing us to take the supportcar out of the contry].

We tried to get a local citizen here in chile to help with the formalities of getting the car across the border, but no luck with convincing the customs.

Later on made a visit to the car-delerships in the bordercity and used a few hours going to various legal officies to get the papers in order to sell the car immideately. Its the last option, but we have now meticoulously tried every option avaliable and 'lost' nearly a week of forward-running-time. So, its time to realize that Chile had one last upset for us, and then to move across to Peru which I expect will be more like the vast majorities of contries I have run through across the world: a friendly place where authorities doesnt try to put a stop to the run whenever we need 'paperwork' done :-)
