Start 11:10am., 11c, overcast and l.wind, at green km-sign "km 2040" on hwy.5. Finish 14:34pm., 25c and same, at green km-sign "km 2070" near Arica on hwy.5.

Finally a stage which went relatively undramatic. The last weeks 'logistics' troubles has drawn out a bit of the energy for the run so I have to admit that I for a couple of day will take it eary and let me catch my 'mental breath' to overview the road ahead :-)

We are now at the last big city, Arica with almost 200 000 people, and thus a chance to add some comfort, hot showers and food to the daily recovery !

NB: Yesterday Jamie flew in from Santiago with a replacement for the gps-unit which stopped working. The replacement works and tracks the running - but - I cant get it to upload the track to the internet. I'll work on a solution !
