Start 10:35am., 11c, overcast & l.wind, at green km-marker "km 895" on hwy.5. Finish 16:10pm., 10c & same, at yellow paint-marker "945.2" on hwy.5.

Finally a little longer stage :-) Though I have to be a bit cautious untill the packet w. runningshoes reach me - hopefully in Antafogasta approximately 600km further North. As many probably know by now the original package w. runningshoes was set to reach me back in March in Argentina but however got in the (corrupt..) hands of Argentinian customs. Fortunately my main sponsor Ecco didnt let it rest at that but has since then worked on solving the troublesome situation (its afterall not extremely easy to run without proper runningshoes ;-). To my joy they appear to have finally retrieved the original package which also had some personal items from friends & family in denmark - and have meanwhile send a new runningshoe package to Santiago. So... it looks like I soon will have the shoes which is optimal and thus hopefully also be able to run a bit longer on the daily stages :-)

Ps: I am at the moment running at the coastal part of the Atacama Desert but its still very remote areas so the reports may be delayed up to 3-5days depending on when I reach the settlements and villages along the route !
