Perils & Parents !
We now have signal again after 3 days out in the open Argentinian mobile-phone-signal free landscape. Time to send a birthday greeting, one day delayed, to Julie - the oldest child of Kasper & Lotte; who happens to be my skilled webmaster & my littlesister :- )
Speaking of family then also a Thank you to my father, who supplies us w. weather forecasts, and my mother who takes care of sponsorship accounding. And not least my aunt Aisha, who sponsored me the first 10y. as competetive youth runner and most of all my Grandmother of 93y., who has taught me the travel- and budget skills along with the stubboness/persistence wich is also needed to complete runs around our world :- )
Travelling isnt without its perils though; last nights tentingground revealed 2
scorpions when taking down my tent this morning. One big sandcoulered one under the groundcover (wich I always use, as precaution against this and other animals who may want to share the tent) and a smaller darker scorpion under a tiny scrubbery next to the tent.
Tonight our tents are pegged in a gravelpit, a bit safer from that kind of local insects.. So Ill enjoy the sunset and get down from my windswept signal-hill and into my warm insect free tent !
Nb: The reports from the 2 previous days will be sent tomorrow.
