[nb: the LifePilot system is now working again transmitting the gpsposition & pic. live to the website].
I have met up w. Darrell Raubenhaimer from Port Elizabeth who, besides beeing my host for the next few days, also is the coordinator of the amazing support from the runningcommunity here in South Africa - working together w. world run's overall logistics maneager Phil Essam from Australia, in making this streatch of the run enjoyable despite a deep fatigue for my part (due to the 20 000km in the legs and various tropical deceases endured ;-)
Darrell is a very valuable help and has further made sure that my broken main cellphone quickly got repaired here in Pt. Elizabeth. A phone wich I use to transmit gps-data & pictures live as I run as part of the day to day documentation of the run. Therefore I am from today and onwards again using the LifePilot system - and you can follow the run live via the LifePilot link on the main page.
Meanwhile my backup phone is sent to repair (another Nokia - I have not been lucky with them, perhaps due to the heat & humidity of Africa). The last 5days reports are stored in that phone so I cant transmit those reports before I have the phone back functioning; hopefully the 15. February. Thanks for your patience untill then!
Ps: less than 1000km to Cape Town now :-)
