The map shows the position of which the pictures for the day are taken (if any). The start and finish markers are placed at the first and last valid registered position. This is not nessesary the actual start and finish position, if GSM or GPS signals was not available.

Start 08:58am., at green exit sign "<- Klipfontein" on the R72. 25c, almost clear and l. wind. Finish 13:21pm, at white farmsign "Thorneycroft, Newcombe", on the R72. 22c and same.

Today I finally met w. Darrell Raubenhaimer who is the person that coordinates the support of world run here in Africa. And, I must say the support has been EXCELLENT AND WAY BEYOND WHAT I EXPECTED :-))

There has so far been only 2 days where I have had to push the stroller (40kg, tent, supplies etc) while running the daily stages. Much thanks to Darrell and the running club network of South Africa !!!

Nb: the data for the reports 8-12 Feb. has been recovered from my broken spare nokia phone. The start & finish times is not accurate for thesereports. But the precise gps-data from the stages is avaliable at sportstracker and documentation pictures at the world run gallery.
