Start 08:42am at white roadsign "Igoda" river on the
R72 to Pt. Alfred, ca 20km S. of East London. 25c, allm. clear and l. wind. Finish 12:40pm at green roadsign "Port Alfred 90km" on the R72 to Pt. Alfred.
37c, humid and same.
A very warm and humid stage - but once again GREAT support by Tony and Renette from E. London :-)
I will miss them !!!
By the way Renette has several 8-hour times to her name at the Comerades 89km(extremely hilly) course. In typical S. African fashion she doesnt boast about it - so only by insisting, did I find out she did such top performances. Impressive !!
Nb: At the moment Im using Nokia Sportstracker & direct upload of pictures as my main documentation. You can follow the daily run live via the SportsTrack link ! Daily pic. is found in the "Gallery" meny.
Once I get the LifePilot system to work again on my phone I probably will prefer that as it uses far less battery and allows
live coverage w. pic. & video.
