Start 11:10am. at green rd.sign "146 Amazintoni, .." at intersection of N2 to Port Shepstone & rd. 102, on rd. 102/Joyner rd. 32c, few clouds and l. wind. Finish 15:24pm. At cross of rd. 102 & George Crookes Str., in Scottbourough city on the rd. 102. 35c, o.c., humid and med.wind.

Linda, Marny and Charlene from the "Umhlathuze" running club in Empangeni was doing a race, 16km on trails & paths, and after driving over 100km to get down to Durban and competing in the trailrun at its 7am. start they still came to meet me at the house of Kylie & Alister afterwards - to offer to crew for me on my entire run today !!

How they maneaged to stay awake (they had started their day at 4am.), be ready at roadside w. supplies of cold water & food every 5km untill I was finished w. todays stage well into the afternoon and on top of that be great company as usual; I cannot imagine
- I guess its part of beeing ultrarunners ! :-))
