Another very enjoyable stage w. running company by the running club Umhlatzi (Empangeni Crocodiles).
Tonight is last night staying w. Linda & her husband Marni who has kindly hosted me the last couple of days. After havingstayed in about 300 hotels since the start in Norway more than 19 000km of running ago, in everything from 5star luxury to ethiopian goat-heard-shelters; it has been a Joy to once again feel like beeing at home ! :-)
Linda is a fellow multiday runner who I met 2years ago at the South African 6day race wich was part of my last 'warm-up' before the start of my second (and Last ;-) run around the world, world run 2.
The hospitality and caring for every detail in the daily preparation & running of the stages through their area of S. Africa truely proves that multiday runners are Family, where ever they maylive ! Their support has brough me from doubting that I could proceed after severe hardship and decease during the East African part of the run - to feeling that I grow a little more confident reg. the last 21 000km of the run for each day :-))
My Big THANK YOU to you both and your Great running club !!
