Another day in the Boiler-room.

- very humid today
Wanted to do 40km but ended up 'half sweatten to death' w. 30km.

Not much moreto add ;-)

... I find the heat of deserts much easier to handle; even enjoyable :-) For example the 'stone dry' 45-50c heat when running through Sahara & Sudan 6-8months ago.. As long as you drink water and digest the lost minerals - you are free to take in the Fabolous everchanging scenery of the desert.

In Humidity; the Heat stays in you no matter what you do and the sweat quick becomes another layer of clothes. The temp. is much lower, 25 to 38c, but the night brings not the relief of the Cold desert nights, but another sweaty stint' in the "boiler-room" !
(Sometimes we have a hotel option, and have good showers and aircondition, though. So not as tough as it may sound ;-)
