Start 08:18am. hotel "Pensao Residential Caminho do Norte, Macomia" in Macomia village on rd. 243 to Nampula. 23c, few clouds and l. wind. Finish 11:36pm. At new bridge [please see live gpspoint for exact loc.] 7km South of Nacate village on rd.243 to Nampulo. 33c, allm. o.c. and same.

Much better run today as the pills against the stomack infection has begun to work. Actually I enjoyed the stage and it didnt make it worse that I now again have good new tarmac to run on :-)

Even better: I have got news that one of my sponsors, Pyroll from Finland, plans to send a supportcar & driver from mid. October to December !!!
- I can guarantee that this takes care of a lot of worries w. logistics on the very remote streatchesI have ahead now !!

And... They send as co-runner none other than the ceo. & owner of the Pyroll group, Reino Uusitalo :-)
Reino is a very experiensed ultrarunner who joined world run for 2weeks in Finland and has this winter completed the task of skiing across Finland, N. to S.; by the way not the first time he has done this - and also by running and cycling !

A company I will much enjoy and that inspires further to put in the effort to run the last part down to S. Africas tip :-)

Another ultrarunner who is joining 7.Oct. is Sarah Barnett from Australia - who ran the first 7000km together with me and without whom I wouldnt have been able to begin the run !

Since then she has further confirmed her worldtop level by in 2009 winning the S. African 6day race and the Swedish 6day race. The S. African race was a 1. also infront of the mens field !

Question remains wether I can keep up w. her !! :-)
