Start 11:20am. at unknown straw/clay house at S. end of Medea village, on the main rd./B2 (under construction, this section)to Lindi and Mozambique. 27c, cloudy and l. wind. Finish 15:29pm. At white km-marker "Nang 35km" on the main rd./B2 to Lindi and Mozambique. 25c, a few clouds and same.

- The right arm has been swelling up from an infected wound (fell at a rusty spikestrip at a police-control up in Kenya, many weeks back..) and lately the entire arm, from hand to elbow, has swollen up and gives a 'burning' feeling when I try to use it.

Ive got medical advice from home via sms, that I should
see a doctor instantly. So.. we search for a hospital after the run today:

Its remote areas here in Southern Tanzania so there isnt many hospitals. I could find only one - a multi-bungalow thing under some palmtrees. I noticed the doctor had a few rusty instruments on the shelfs. "- Do you have pennecillin ?" - the answer "Pennecillin ???"
... I made a fast escape.
