restday/visa pickup in Dar Es Salaam.

Did 10km (59:56min) near the lodge w. my supportdriver after a day in Dar' where allwent surprisingly Smooth !

Drove 120km back to pick up the passport handed in 5d. ago at the Mozambique embassy. Escaped the usual mayhem traffic-jams' ..cars overtaking inside via the pedestrian walkway, or, even better, on both sides of- and ontop of the raised & curbed highway middle, minding little of wether its with or agains 'the flow' (you dont need action movies when you can watch african driving culture. Sorry !) Walked into the Mozambique embassy (Moz. "High Commission" ;-), picked up my visa. That simple :-)

Not reeeally the way this usually works in E. Africa..

I think my supportdriver had a good day too; atleast up to km 8 where he began to walk and asked for shade.
;-) I know how that feels.. (though the walking has been limited to 2 x ca. 400meter since Norway. Just like world run 1, its not a walk. But I Respect walkers a lot ! Even though it isnt my sport and I hope to keep it so:-).

He eventually returned to the hotel in good spirit; and I hear the word marathon mentioned - New York M. ?There is still 3 months to the start. That aint impossible :-) At all :-))
