Start 08:30am. at "Mlawa Family Farm" just after small village, on the main rd./B2 to Lindi and Mozambique. 20c, allm. clearand no wind. Finish 16:09pm. At blue sign "Halmashauri Ya Kijiji Shule Ya Msingi, Msafiri", on the main rd./B2 to Lindi and Mozambique. 26c, half cloudyand med. wind.

Old legs, new Viking ? ;-)

-Yesterday I got the result of the 2. of two tests for malaria and other severe tropical deceases. The testsmy girlfriend 'persuaded' me to get done at one of the leading clinicks while in Dar Es Salaam, 3days ago. I have been seriously ill on-off the last 2-3months and wanted to take the tests while running through Nairobi & Mombassa in Kenya, but... Settled for buying some anti-malaria etc. and eating a bitof it if the sympthoms were too severe.

But when you dont know if the body is "Ok" again (and once every few weeks have "knock out fever" ;-) it slowly eats into your confidence as an athlete. Last 2 months I havent been able to reach 50km - wich once was an average daily distance !
Today I did 50 after a 40km stage yesterday.
