Monsoon & a Bad road ;-)
- makes a happy Viking !
... The seasonal East African rain gave me and my supplydriver a 'grand show' of what it can do with (or to !) a road in a few minutes. The beginning of the power-shower and how it turned me from a worldrunner into a mudrunner, you can see foryourself at todays live video upload to Finlands Tv, Vo2 Sportsshow :-)
The late start: broken front window & loose/dislocated front wheels stabilitybar on the supportcar from the days on the rough roads (minor details ;-)
And the Need, and desire.., to visit an Atm, if we wanted to be able to eat.
..All in all a 4h drive into Dar Es Salaam and back & 1h out to where I finished yesterday on the stone roads. By then - I was pretty much done' for the day, motivationally ;-)
But, the Rain somehow cheered me up and woke up the 'sleeping Viking' within ! I enjoyed the short run much :-)
