Start 10:07am. roadsign "M. Andei 103Kms" at exit of Sultan Hamud", 112km S. of Nairobi, on the main road to Mombassa. 19c, half o.c. and l. wind. Finish 15:53pm. At white wornout roadmarker [please see exact loc. on live-gps], 330km W. of Mombassa, on the main road to Mombassa. 29c and same.

Finally got back to 40km stagelength (has been Difficult to beat the lazyness after short stages in Nairobi;-)
And the reward: Shortly after we set up tents, just getting ready to eat our safari-dinner - rice, corn, tuna and banana & fresh mango - the clouds lifted in the Horizon and from one Moment to the Next, Kilimanjaaro stood beaming w. its glaciers right in front of us. I may not have seen anything as Amazing across any of the continents !!

- Its the same horizon. But suddenly there is a 6000m mountain behind us; Africas tallest & the only w. glaciers along w Mt Kenya, 500km back :-)
