Goodbye Sudan !!
Last stage in Sudan today.
Writing the report on the phone as I run along the road that leads into the mountains - and with them, Ethiopia.
- Sudan has been GREAT !
A far better experiense than I could imagine. This contry that I had rated as the most difficult of the run across 4 continents and 40 000km.
I recoqnise that there is refugee camps, suffering and deep conflicts wich only slowly is beeing solved.
But there is another story about Sudan than poverty, war and political mess-up'; and thats the story about the everyday-life in one of the friendliest contries on our small planet :-)
- Visit it if you are ready to get a surprise about what is "rich" and "poor" and how another definition of Wealth could be.
I may be naive, but I think the ressource of Friendship will outlast the oil and wealth that we cling on to in a brief period of time.
(Greed, ambition and strife lasts untill someone has won, friendship has no such limits :-)
THANK YOU to for all the friendship met in Sudan !! And in all the 15 other contries of the run so far!
