Start 08:08am., at "Canary Hotel" in Hugata. 19c, clear and no wind. Finish 14:15pm, at "Carribean World Resort", main gate,10km N. of Safaga. 38c, med. wind and same.

Undramatic run today :-)
Policecar escorte all the way. A major change from the daily 'situations' untill afew days ago, but I must say things has changed - to a really helpfull treatment. Today even w. entusiastic interest in the run; where from ? Why ?? Tired ?? And as far as I could understand sharing the news as we slowly made way in the little bit warm weather today. Warm to me; here its still considered "winter" and most locals make sure to put on an extra layer just in case it should get below 30c.. ;-)

Nb: Tomorrow begins the 4day run from the Gulf of Suez towards the Nile river valley 160km West of here. To my knowledge there wont be phone-signal on this streatch. Therefore please dont expect theusual live-gps & pic. as I most likely wont be able to transmit ! I may also not be able to send the daily reports nor be in contact w. the many friends(I Much appreaciate your support & encouragement !!!). But if all goes well the connection should be up & functional in max. 5days when I re-appear on the other side of the desert mountain range.

The stroller will be packed w. 16 kg of fluid plus food supplies. So.. Might be 1day delayed to Qena/Nile Valley as its an 700m up climb and 50kg of stroller total. If no news by 7days.. you can inherit the shoes ;-)
