A bit of a short stage as I need to begin to save the legs a bit for the 48h. race in Cairo..
Kelley 'Rambo' Nimmer had to take a bus to Cairo a few km into todays run in order to make his flight to Prague in time. He has been great company and encouragement (despite that he has had more difficulties than I, Im sure !) and allready I understand that there is plans of re-joining in South-America :-)
I put my tent at a little look-out in the desert and await new years evening.. in my black 'running tuxedo' ;-) No matching tie, but I dont think anyone outhere minds :-)
Many sms' messages from friends & families and, to my surprise, a light rain shower just past midnight !
- Rain in the desert; quite fitting for a strange year. That by all signs wont be less filled w. experienses and great adventures in the one that has just started :-)
With best wishes of a Happy New Year w. joyfull running & rewarding challenges to all !!
