A short jog to keep the run non-stop while we stock up onsupplies.
There could be a little drama underway as Sarah was considering stopping due to low motivation - Its been a while we have been running now and a run like this is by far more difficult to handle mentally than physically.
I will do all I can to support and motivate her, but I respect and know how hard a battle she is struggeling with right now. Once you get the idea of looking into flighttables homebound its an extreme uphill to do the daily 4-8h. of running (basically its the kind of thourght you need to avoid those years you run !). We agreed to run forward to Konya, ca. 5days away, but I feel the chance that she returns home then is 90percent ! Atleast we can enjoy the last days together :-)
PS: She is strong and un-injured but once you cant find a good reason or reasons to run its harder than hard to face these challenges. I guess its part of what facinates us as ultrarunners no matter if its 100k, 24h., 6days or 1lap: the body is build to endure it, but can we as modern humans handle it mentally/spiritually/philosophically ?
.. Endlessness is a tough opponent to wrestle. Yet each human does it every day :-)
